Pranav Ghate is a Software Engineer working for the University of California, Davis' Plant Simulation Labs. He previously worked at University of Southern California, Institute for Creative Technologies as a Programmer Analyst, focusing on developing serious games for simulation and training, for DARPA and NSF funded projects. His expertise lies is in managing game data back-ends and UX/UI design for 3D simulations. Pranav's role in the GEMINI project is to publish a data management framework and implement a global data access strategy that efficiently stores and provides genetic, sensor, and simulation data to end-users such as farmers and breeders.
